Your privacy is very important to us at Daring Dutch Designers. We want to be transparent about how we handle your personal data. Therefore, we have created this privacy statement in accordance with the new European privacy legislation (GDPR).
Orders
When you place an order, we collect personal data to process it correctly. We share your data with our printing partner and delivery partners to fulfill your order. Additionally, we receive payment information from your bank.
We collect and process payment data, address details, IP address, email address, phone number, and billing address, among others. We retain this data for up to one year after the completion of your order, and then for an additional seven years due to the legal retention obligation.
Disclosure to Third Parties
To process orders, we work with specific companies that may receive the above-mentioned personal data from us. This includes:
- Our printing company
- Our logistics partners such as PostNL, DHL, DPD, etc.
- Our hosting partner, Shopify
- Our email marketing partner, Mailchimp
Newsletter
You can subscribe to our newsletter to stay updated on news, tips, and product information. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email. We will only add your email address to the subscription list with your consent, and we will keep this data until you unsubscribe.
For sending the newsletter, we collaborate with Shopify and Mailchimp.
Advertising
We aim to send relevant advertisements based on your interests and previous orders, via email and social media. You can always object to this advertising and unsubscribe through the link in every email.
Our online store includes social media buttons. These allow the administrators of these services to collect personal data.
Cookies
Our online store uses cookies to enhance your visit and remember certain information. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features of our online store may no longer function correctly.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to analyze the use of our online store. We have entered into a data processing agreement with Google, which includes clear agreements regarding the use of the collected data.
Social Media
Our online store includes a share button for sharing products on social media. When you click on this button, the administrators of these services may collect your personal data.
Security
We take the security of personal data seriously and ensure that your data is safe with us. We continuously adapt our security measures and remain vigilant to potential risks.

If our online store changes, we will also update our privacy statement. Always check the date at the top and regularly review any updates.
Access, Modification, and Deletion of Your Data
You have the right to know which personal data we have about you and what we do with it. You can request correction, deletion, or object to the use of your data.
Complaints
If you believe we are not handling your data correctly, you have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
